 Inmate to receive Here's Your Card recognition web posted June 27, 2006 EDGEFIELD – Yet another one of Edgefield County’s most intellectual citizens earned his award as a Here’s Your Card recipient from EdgefieldDaily.com. Kenneth Obryant Carroll, 23, of Edgefield, was in custody at the Edgefield County Detention Center when he allegedly made a phone call to the victim of his crime and made threats towards her. Jailers quickly noted the phone number the inmate was calling and terminated the call. According to police records Mr. Carroll threaten the life of the woman and the message was stored on the woman’s cell phone with the caller ID showing the phone number of the Detention Center. Call Logs of the Detention Center confirmed the call being made. Although Mr. Carroll was already in custody at the time of the incident, additional charges are said to be pending for the threat. For
