 Investigation results in multiple drug charges on suspected dealer web posted June 27, 2006 EDGEFIELD – Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators closed in on a three-month investigation that resulted in the arrest of Eric Charmont Dozier, 43, of Davis Road in Ridge Spring, SC. Mr. Dozier has been charged with two counts each of distribution of crack cocaine and distribution of crack cocaine within the proximity of a school or park. According to information provided by the Sheriff’s Office, Narcotics Investigators allegedly conducted at least two drug buys since March of 2006 from Mr. Dozier. The purchases were conducted less than a half mile from the Johnston Elementary School on Lee Street. An undisclosed amount of money and drugs were exchanged during the investigation. Mr. Dozier was taken into custody Friday and booked into the Edgefield County Detention Center. He was released Sunday on bond. The bond amount was not available at this writing. For
