posted June 30, 2010
EDGEFIELD – The Slade Lake Pedal Boat
Company is pleased to announce its grand opening on beautiful Slade
Lake in Edgefield, SC on July 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. The Slade Lake
Pedal Boat Company is excited about the opportunity to provide safe
pedal boat rentals for the residents of Edgefield and in neighboring
communities.
The Company is managed by the owners, Craig and Theresa McMullin,
residents of the Town of Edgefield and will initially be open from
10:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. on Sundays until
dusk.
The company will also open for operations on holidays and special
events/celebrations, weather permitting. The Company currently
consists of seven (7) rental boats at $10.00 per hour per boat and six
(6) of the boats accommodate 4 passengers. The seventh boat is a
“swan themed” boat and accommodates 2 adults and 1 child. Safety
vests are provided for all passengers.
“Edgefield is known across the nation for its abundant history, its
National Wild Turkey Federation, Home of Ten Governors, its pottery,
its wood carving, and its many quaint stores around our historic town
square. We look forward to becoming a part of Edgefield’s many
attributes,” said owner Craig McMullin.
