The Jo-Nathan Foundation to host the 2014 Speed, Agility, and Character camp

EDGEFIELD The Jo-Nathan Foundation will host the 2014 Speed, Agility, and Character camp on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 8:00am-1:00pm at the Edgefield County Soccer Complex. The camp will be led by 2013 Nike Track and Field Coach of the year, Coach Lawrence Johnson. This particular award is given to the most outstanding coach in the nation in track and field each year.

Lawrence Johnson is the former Director of track and field at Clemson University. While coaching at Clemson, Coach Johnson won 3 consecutive indoor and outdoor ACC track championships and has now moved on to coach professionally where he is training possible 2016 Olympians Brianna Rollins, Queen Harrison, and Kristi Castlin.

This camp is for kids ages 10 and up and will focus on increasing speed and agility for boys and girls from all sports. This camp will also place emphasis on the importance of having good character, good behavior, and the importance of academics. The cost for the camp will be $25 which will include a t-shirt and lunch.
