 Main Street Auto opens in Edgefield web posted July 24, 2007  EDGEFIELD –
Edgefield has seen its
business community continue to grow recently and most recently with the
addition of Main Street Auto, located at 602 Main Street. James Turner,
along with his wife Rhonda, just recently opened the business providing
all facets of automobile repair including oil changes and service,
brakes, air conditioner repairs, tires, and most any minor or major
auto repair.Mr. Turner, who is a lifelong resident of Edgefield County, said he has over 29 years of experience in the automotive repair business and he and his staff can service both domestic and foreign vehicles. Main Street Auto also offers the availability of 24-hour towing. Mr. Turner said he has been operating his business in the county over the years and just recently moved it to the Main Street location to expand the operation and the type of repairs the business will be able to provide including transmission service and repairs. The operating hours for Main Street Auto are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 am until 5 pm and from 8 am until noon on Wednesday and Saturday.
