Huddle House suffers break-in web posted July 24, 2007 EDGEFIELD – The Huddle House in Edgefield was the scene of a break-in that resulted in the theft of cash from the business on Friday morning. When workers arrived to open the business it was discovered someone had pried open the back door and the door to the manager’s office and stolen the cash from the safe. A Sheriff’s Deputy observed the damaged doors and a file cabinet in the manager’s office also pried open along with the open safe. The safe contained an undisclosed amount of cash. An Investigator arrived on the scene to process the evidence and officers recovered a plastic bag containing over $200 behind the restaurant. The money returned to the manager after the plastic bag was taken for evidence. Damages to the business were listed at $1,000. For
