 Stereos stolen from cars parked at local business web posted July 25, 2007 EDGEFIELD – The owner of a salvage and auto repair business on the 1100 block of Jeter Street in Edgefield called the Sheriff’s Officer to report the theft of radio equipment from several cars on the parking lot. A deputy arrived and was show five cars that had the stereos removed from the dash sometime Sunday night. The business owner provided police with a suspect and stated a white 90’s model 4-door Crown Victoria or Mercury was seen pulling in and out of the drive. A neighbor reported seeing the car also but also told police she also observed a grey Cutlass pull into the parking lot around 11 pm. The case has been turned over to investigators. The value of the stolen stereos was listed at $750. For
