Paperwhites to hold ribbon cutting today

EDGEFIELD – Paperwhites, an antique and arts mall, will be holding their Grand Opening today with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 pm and feature a “Wine and Cheese Party” to celebrate the opening.  Pamela Moore and Jo Ann Amos, owners, and Kim Deschaine, manger eagerly await meeting customers and showing them around the vast array of pottery, artwork, carvings, and even photo restorations that are available from various booths at the mall.

The store is located at 102 Courthouse Square and was temporarily housed at the old Rocky Shop building on Main Street. Among the featured artists is photography by LuJayne B. Knicely, pottery by Jane Bess, works by Leonard Todd, photo restoration by Linda G. Ely, and many other artists and crafters.

In addition to current works or productions being available for sale, the mall offers commissioned works from several different artists. Spaces are still available for rent in the mall which is open from 10 am until 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

If you cannot make it to the Grand Opening you are invited to stop by and browse the many booths and the enormous variety of custom art, woodworking, carvings, photographs, and other curios that are housed in the mall.
