Jo-Nathan Foundation to Host a Speed, Agility and Character Camp August 2

EDGEFIELD This Saturday, August 2nd, The Jo-Nathan Foundation will host a Speed, Agility and Character Camp at the Edgefield Soccer Field for boys and girls ages 10 and up. Lawrence Johnson, former Head Track and Field Coach from Clemson will be leading the event. 

Johnson, who was named 2013 USA Nike Coach of the Year in Track and Field, has performed training at NFL Combines and is currently training athletes for the US Olympics.
 
The camp will run from 8:00am-1:00pm and lunch will be included.  Cost is $25.  There will be sponsors available for those who need financial assistance in affording the camp.  To fill out the required registration form please visit the Jo-Nathan homepage http://www.thejo-nathanfoundation.org/ and click on REGISTER NOW!

Immediately following the camp on Saturday, The Jo-Nathan Foundation will begin distributing school supplies to those in need.

The mission of the Jo-Nathan Foundation is to inspire underprivileged and at-risk youth to reach their highest potential by providing opportunities to attend summer camps and other educational activities via tuition or fee sponsorship.  It was founded in honor of Edgefield native Jonathan Simpkins.
