"Horton hears a Who" Friday night "drive-in" feature on Edgefield Square

EDGEFIELD – The second movie to be shown on the Square in Edgefield this summer will be presented Friday, Aug. 15, at dusk. Activities and contests will begin at 7:30 p.m. This month’s movie will be “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” and will be sponsored by Anderson and Anderson Attorneys at Law.

The movie, a project of the Town of Edgefield and the Edgefield Community Development Association, is a free event. Activities will include face painting, a Dr. Seuss character costume contest, a watermelon spitting contest and Gold Fish cracker tossing contest.

Be sure to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on during the movie. Concessions will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Downtown Drive-in Fund. Free popcorn will be provided by the S.C. National Guard 122nd Engineer Battalion.
Please, no pets or unattended children. Rain location will be the Edgefield Gym.
