Truck, guns, debit card reported stolen from Edgefield man web posted September 21, 2006 EDGEFIELD – An Edgefield man called the Edgefield Sheriff’s Office to report his green 2003 Ford F-150 pick-up truck stolen Tuesday morning. The man told the deputy that he loaned his truck to an acquaintance to go to Clarks Hill and he never returned the truck. The man also said the acquaintance had used a debit card he left in the truck by spending $200. The card and the account were closed upon the discovery. Also in the truck were three guns; a Remington 1100 12 gauge pump shotgun, a Ruger .357 magnum pistol, and a .38 caliber revolver. The truck was placed on NCIC as a stolen vehicle, however at this time the case is considered a breach of trust since the victim did give the Swainsboro man permission to use the truck. The truck has not been reported as recovered at this writing. The case has been turned over to investigators for follow-up. For
