 web posted September 28, 2007 EDGEFIELD – The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office Relay for Life Team will be raising funds at the Edgefield Heritage Festival on October 5th and 6th with pumpkin painting, face painting, trick or treating, and capped off with a ceremony and the release of sponsored balloons in memory or honor of a special person or cancer patient. The balloons are available for a donation of $1. Sheriff’s Lt. Karen Jaggers, the “Team Captain” for Sheriff’s Relay for Life team said in a release, “We want to give everyone an opportunity to pay tribute to their loved ones and friends and help fight the disease that claims so many lives.” EdgefieldDaily.com has placed a downloadable form to fill out to donate and have someone honored in the balloon release. The Sheriff’s Office Relay for Life Team requests that you use a separate form for each person you wish to honor and to drop the forms off at the Sheriff’s Office booth at the Heritage Festival beginning on Friday at 4 pm until 9 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until 2 pm Saturday. The release and ceremony will be held at 3 pm Saturday afternoon. For all
