  Woman Reports theft of Jewelry, Silver Coins, Silver Certificates web posted October 3, 2012 EDGEFIELD – A North Augusta woman called the Sheriff's Office to report approximately $5,000 in jewelry and silver missing from a storage unit she rents in Edgefield. The 68-year-old woman told the deputy she first discovered the theft two weeks ago. According to an incident report, 20 rings, 12 necklaces, 6 bracelets were taken from a suitcase. They were valued at a total of $4,000. Approximately $1,000 in silver coins and silver certificates were taken from bank pouches stored in the unit as well.
