  Shots Fired into Walker Road Home web posted October 16, 2012 EDGEFIELD – A Walker Road woman called the Sheriff's Office Saturday morning after discovering someone had fired at least one bullet into the home while she was away for a few hours Friday night. She did not discover the damage until around 10 am Saturday. A nearby family member reported seeing headlights in the driveway and hearing "gunshots" around 8 pm, but did not notify law enforcement. One bullet entered near a front window and traveled through the wall hitting a picture on another wall as it passed through, and then entered a closet and became lodged in the door jamb of the closet. The evidence was photographed and the bullet was collected as evidence. Two shell casing and a "live round" from an unspecified caliber weapon were located at the driveway of a neighboring home and were seized as evidence. According to an incident report, the woman's daughter had a recent verbal and "physical" altercation with two other juveniles and the mother is involved with a civil dispute with another subject. Reports did not name any of the individuals as possible suspects.
