Heritage Jubilee may have found new home

Edgefielddaily.com
web posted October 17, 2005

EDGEFIELD – The Heritage Jubilee was a great success this past Friday and Saturday as crowds circled through the Old Kendall Mill location. “I really like this (location),” John Seawright said, a comment echoed by most we spoke with. The shade trees and the larger more spread out grounds made the event more pleasant. “It kinda feels like (the Peach Festival in Trenton),” one visitor said.

Below is a short photo essay on the events of the day. It was nice to see so many familiar, and unfamiliar, faces that stopped to say how much they enjoyed EdgefieldDaily.com

Some of the cars present for the car show. A real treat!

Some of the carvings offered by local carver Ike Carpenter

Elvis stopped by to entertain the crowds

Kids enjoy the SC National Guard Rock Wall

We've never seen Edgefield County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Wash move as fast as he did to not be in the picture of the Mobile Command Unit
