web posted October 19, 2007 EDGEFIELD – Edgefield Police Chief Ronnie Carter, at the behest of Edgefield Mayor Ken Durham, presented local media with photographs of the Department’s Officers. Mayor Durham said, at the time, he wanted to recognize the officers and for the community to become more familiar with those charged with protecting the town. Combined the officers have sixty years of service to the town. Chief Carter has fifteen years of service with the town individually.  Police Chief Ronnie
