Cooper Loop home robbed Edgefielddaily.com web posted October 19, 2005 EDGEFIELD – A Cooper Loop Road home was the site of a break-in in which the perpetrators made off with almost $10,000 worth of valuables. The homeowner reported the break-in around 9:30 pm when she returned home to find her door opened. When she went inside the breadth of the burglary became apparent. Once Deputy Curtis Morris responded to the scene it was discovered a large safe containing more that $3,000 in cash, two shotguns valued at more than $2,000, as well as jewelry, old stamps, and various paperwork was missing. The total value of the items stolen was estimated to be more than $8,100 dollars at present. The woman stated she touched nothing before investigators arrived on the scene and the home was dusted for fingerprints. The investigation has been given to Investigator Chris Aston and is continuing.
