![]() Wanted man arrested in Edgefield web posted October 24, 2006 EDGEFIELD – Edgefield Police took a wanted man into custody during a traffic stop Sunday afternoon. The officer conducted the traffic stop on a gold Chrysler due to the window tint of the back window being too dark. When the officer asked the driver for his license he provided a beginner’s permit. When the officer asked the passenger for his license he stated he did not have it with him. When the passenger identified himself as Randall Biangelo Yelldell, 20 of the 200 block of Courtney Road, Trenton, officer’s recognized the name. A third officer arrived on the scene with existing warrants for Mr. Yelldell’s arrest. At that time officers took him into custody though he was “uncooperative”. Once in custody officers found what they believed was marijuana in Mr. Yelldell’s sock. As officers searched the car they discovered more suspected marijuana inside the car. As a result officers placed the driver, Brian Abney, 25, of the 600 block of Woodyard Road, Trenton, under arrest for simple possession of marijuana and violation of a beginner’s permit. Mr. Yelldell was charged with simple possession of marijuana and booked on existing warrants for manufacture-distribution of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute drugs other than cocaine in the proximity of a school or park.
