  Sarah's Santa "Yard Sale" at JET starts today web posted December 7, 2007 EDGEFIELD – Sarah’s Santa’s is gearing up for Christmas and is seeking donations and information regarding those in need during the Christmas season. Founded in 2004, the non-profit group has delivered Christmas joy to hundreds of area children who would not otherwise have such a bountiful Christmas. This year there is an “Angels Care Day” planned for December 7 and 8. On Friday, December 7 the yard sale will begin at 4 pm and end at 7 pm, and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at J-E-T Middle School. There will be entertainment, a yard sale, food and eight basket raffles throughout the day. The public is invited to come together to donate gifts for these children. Donations can be taken at J-E-T Middle School or call to have the items picked up. Monetary donations can also be sent to J-E-T Middle School or be taken to Carolina First Bank in Edgefield and deposited into Sarah’s Santa’s account. To apply for assistance from Sarah’s Santa’s write a letter that includes: • Name • address • phone number • the reason there is a need for assistance • provide a financial statement of income • list children in the household (name, age) • a wish list for each child • sizes for each child (shoes, pants, shirts, jackets, etc) Angel’s Helping Sarah’s Santa’s is a non-profit organization that provides Christmas for children that are less fortunate than others.
