 Fox Creek Student Charged with Marijuana at School web posted January 17, 2013 NORTH AUGUSTA – Edgefield County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Fox Creek Charter High School Tuesday morning shortly after two students signed in late, "reeking of marijuana". School officials pulled the driver out of class and a preliminary search of the student's car found a burnt marijuana cigarette in the ashtray. After a deputy arrived and a second search of the car located another suspected marijuana cigarette in a pocket on the driver's side door. 19-year-old Desmond Dashun Whitelock, of Wilderness Trail, was charged with simple possession of marijuana on a ticket, but was not booked into custody. It is unknown if the school has taken any disciplinary action against the student.
