Two students arrested in drug search at Fox Creek High School web posted March 16, 2006  MERRIWETHER – As
EdgefieldDaily.com reported yesterday,
Edgefield
County Sheriff’s Deputies and Narcotics Investigators converged on Fox
Creek High School due to reported drugs being found. Within the hour,
the school was in a lock down, half a dozen Sheriff’s Deputies were
onsite, and the drug dog arrived on the scene. After the search,
Deputies arrested two students for possession of marijuana.Identified by the Edgefield County Detention Center Records as being charged was James Dee Purvines, 17, and an unnamed male juvenile. Mr. Purvines has been given a court date in Magistrate Court though the date was not available at this writing. He was released the same day. The juvenile has been referred to Family Court.
