Fox Creek High School vandalized over the weekend web posted March 22, 2006 MERRIWETHER – The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of vandalism at Fox Creek High School Monday morning. School officials called to report someone had broken a window in a door among other damage. When the Sheriff’s Deputy arrived, he was instructed to see the teacher of the classroom where the damage was done. The teacher reported the window in the door to the classroom was broken out. However, the Deputy observed that glass was removed, not broken. The molding that held the glass in the door was broken out. The Deputy also observed some “dark matter” on the door handle. The teacher stated it appeared to be “do-do”. The teacher stated she felt the person responsible was a student that was kicked out of school for having drugs on campus since she was the one who reported him. The Deputy took pictures of the damage and advised the school of services and remedies. Damage was estimated to be $200 For
