Bi-weekly gas survey, Price average continues to rise to $2.21 for county

COUNTY – Area gas prices continue to rise this report as the average price of gas increased three cents from an average of $2.18 a gallon last report to $2.21 across the county this week. Prices varied as much as thirteen cents between retailers. The Four Seasons in Johnston and the S&S Truck Stop in Sweetwater took the award for the lowest reported price at $2.17. The Northside BP in Edgefield reported the highest price at $2.30. Below is the report of all 17 reporting stations.
