Bi-weekly gas survey, Price average holds at $2.21 for county

COUNTY – Area gas prices held steady this report as the average price of gas at an average of $2.21 across the county this week. Prices varied as much as sixteen cents between retailers. The S&S Truck Stop and Greg’s Gas Plus in Sweetwater and Sportsman’s Corner in Merriwether took the award for the lowest reported price at $2.14. The Northside BP in Edgefield reported the highest price at $2.30. Below is the report of all 17 reporting stations.
