Weekly gas survey; Price average rises to $2.23 for county

COUNTY – With the recent leveling of gas prices, EdgefieldDaily.com has reverted to a weekly gas survey. If prices begin erratic fluctuations, we will return to a twice-weekly schedule. Area gas prices rose slightly this report as the average price of gas rose to $2.23 from an average of $2.21 this week. Prices varied as much as thirteen cents between retailers. Greg’s Gas Plus in Sweetwater and Sportsman’s Corner in Merriwether took the award for the lowest reported price at $2.17. The Northside BP in Edgefield reported the highest price at $2.30. Below is the report of all 17 reporting stations.
