Weekly gas survey; Gas below $2.00 again Edgefielddaily.com web posted February 15, 2006 COUNTY – Area gas prices dropped again this week as the average price of gas fell to $2.07 from an average of $2.16 last week. Prices varied as much as twenty-two cents between retailers. Sportsman's Corner in Merriwether took the award for the lowest reported price at $1.97 and Billy's Superstore in Trenton reported the highest price at $2.19.
