Weekly gas survey; Gas still below $2.00 as prices fall

COUNTY – Area gas prices dropped again this week as the average price of gas fell to $2.02 from an average of $2.07 last week and a total drop of 14 cents over the past two weeks. Prices varied as much as eighteen cents between retailers. Greg’s Gas Plus on Highway 25 in Merriwether took the award for the lowest reported price at $1.91 and Amoco Food Mart #1 in Edgefield reported the highest price at $2.09. Below is the report of all 17 reporting stations.
