COUNTY – Area gas prices dropped this week as the average price of gas fell to $2.68. A thirteen cent decrease in the last week. Prices varied only ten cents between retailers. Sportsman's Corner in Merriwether took the award for the lowest reported prices at $2.64. The highest reported price of $2.74 a gallon came from the Kent's Corner in Edgefield. Below is the report of all 17 reporting stations.
