Weekly gas survey; Gas Jumps to $2.69

COUNTY – Gas prices took a turn upward over the last week rising by an average of sixteen cents. Prices varied 18 cents between retailers. Sportsman’s Corner and Greg’s Gas Plus in Merriwether and the 3-Way Food Mart in Johnston took the award for the lowest prices at $2.61. Billy’s Super Store in Trenton reported the highest price of $2.79 a gallon. Below is the full report of the 17 reporting stations.
