Weekly gas survey; Gas jumps to $2.63 average

COUNTY – Area gas prices rose as the average price across the county this week went up to $2.63 a gallon, a ten cent increase from last week. Prices varied twenty-five cents among retailers. The 3-Way Food Store in Johnston took the lowest reported price this week with $2.52 a gallon. Northside BP in Edgefield topped the list at $2.75.
