 Weekly gas survey; Gas prices drop 26 cents a gallon in one week Edgefielddaily.com web posted August 16, 2006 COUNTY – Area gas prices dropped drastically across the county this week as prices went from $2.85 a gallon to an average of $2.66 a gallon with the lowest reported price at $2.59. Prices varied ten cents among retailers. The Amoco Food Mart No.1 and Dodge’s Store in Edgefield had the lowest reported price this week with $2.59 a gallon. Six locations reported the highest prices at $2.69.
