Bi-weekly gas survey Edgefielddaily.com web posted September 15, 2005 COUNTY – Area gas prices have continued to fall over the last few days and the average price of gas dropped again from $2.84 a gallon to $2.70 across the county. Monks Corner, Shell QP Express, and SOC Smith’s Coastal in Johnston took the award for the lowest reported price at $2.49 and once again Billy’s Superstore in Trenton topped the list at $2.99 along with Sue's Country Store. Several stations continued to report prices in the $2.70 to $2.79 range. Below is the report of all reporting stations. Note: Only Edgefield County prices are used for the average price of gas.
