 Weekly gas survey; Gas prices drop below $2.00 a gallon Edgefielddaily.com web posted September 28, 2006 COUNTY – Area gas prices continued to drop across the county this week as prices fell below $2.00 a gallon with the lowest reported price at $1.96. Prices varied fifteen cents among retailers. Four Seasons in Edgefield, Billy’s Superstore in Trenton, Greg's Gas plus and Sportsman's Corner in Merriwether had the lowest reported price this week at $1.96 a gallon. Prices are expected to continue to fall over the next two months. Two locations reported the highest prices at $2.11.
