Bi-weekly gas survey, Price average drops to $2.05 for county, five cents this week

COUNTY – Area gas prices continued to drop this report as the average price of gas dropped three cents from an average of $2.08 a gallon last report to $2.05 across the county for a total of five cents this week. Prices varied as much as fourteen cents between retailers. Dodge's Store in Edgefield as well as Sportsman’s Corner and Greg’s Gas Plus in Merriwether took the award for the lowest reported price at $1.99. The Northside BP in Edgefield reported the highest price at $2.13. Below is the report of all 17 reporting stations.
