Edgefield Daily.com weekend Get-A-Way
Contest Rules Edgefielddaily.com web posted June 27, 2005 All participants must be 18 years or older to win. All entries must contain name, address, phone number, and age. Maximum number of people allowed in the Edgefield Daily.com Weekend Get-A-Way by any winner is two, the winner and a guest of their choice. There will be no exceptions. Dates and times are not available for change. Reservations have already been made and may not be exchanged for any other offer or dates. A minimum of 20 pictures will be presented of obvious public locations throughout the county will be posted and will include pictures from the towns of Edgefield, Johnston, and Trenton as well as Bettis Academy, Merriwether, and other outlying areas. The entry containing the most correctly identified locations will win the Edgefield Daily.com Weekend Get-A-Way. In the event no entry contains all the correct locations the entry with the most correct will win. In the event of a tie, or ties, Edgefield Daily.com will draw from the winning entries on the Edgefield County Courthouse steps at 12:00 noon on January 30, 2006. The Edgefield Daily.com Weekend Get-A-Way is for the weekend of June 16–18, 2006. Check-in time is 4:00 pm on Friday June 16, 2006 and check-out will be allowed through Edgefield Daily.com representatives on location as late as 6:00 pm Sunday, June 18, 2006. The accommodations are a private condo for two with kitchen/dining area, master suite with king size bed, separate Jacuzzi room, shower, and private balcony overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. The winner will have the choice of either a round of golf at the Sapphire Mountain Country Club, located walking distance away, or dinner for two at the renowned mica’s Restaurant in nearby Cashiers NC. With the dinner choice winners will be allowed a $100 prepaid “tab”. Choice of prize must be presented within 30 days of winning the contest or the dinner at mica’s will be entered by default. All costs of the amenities undertaken outside of those provided for free by the temporary membership in the Sapphire Valley Master Association are the sole responsibility of the contestant. Edgefield Daily.com does not provide any other offer other than those listed or those that may be added and provided for at the time to contest conclusion. Winner will be responsible for transportation to and from the Getaway location. The winner must confirm their acceptance of the prize(s) within 30 days of the conclusion of the contest. If no notification of acceptance is received by the 30 day deadline Edgefield Daily.com will draw from the remaining winning entries and select a new winner under the same contest rules and conditions. All taxes that may be applicable due to contest winning are the responsibility of the contestant and not that of Edgefield Daily.com or any other sponsor of prizes awarded. No entry received later than midnight January 30, 2006 will be accepted. All family members or employees of EdgefieldDaily.com and/or its Weekend Get-A-Way sponsors are not eligible for prizes. Total value of the Get-A-Way is valued at $525.00 as stated. Additional prizes, if any, will be additional. Winners of the prize must agree to allow their name and/or photos to be used in advertisements on Edgefield Daily.com for promotional purposes. Edgefield Daily.com reserves the right to refuse the prize to anyone suspected of obtaining information from any sponsor included in the awarding of said prizes and defer to a drawing of remaining contestants.
