![]() Here's your card winners: "Come on in" web posted December 22, 2006 SWEETWATER – If you are going to sit around and consume drugs, and possibly deal drugs, you might not want to invite the police to “come on in” when they knock on your door. That piece of common sense eluded four Edgefield County men Wednesday night. While Edgefield County Deputies were looking for a suspect on an unrelated call, a deputy knocked on the door of a Square Circle Ranch Road home and was told to “come on in” by one of the men inside. When he did he smelled the “strong odor of marijuana” and observed several partially smoked marijuana cigarettes and other drug related items scattered about the room, police reports state. Two other deputies also arrived and confirmed the discovery. Among the drugs seen in plain sight were several partially smoked marijuana cigarettes, marijuana, a bag of pills thought to be Ecstacy, and several small empty bags containing residue thought to be cocaine. Deputies arrested Shaun Latodd Bibbs, 20, of the 500 block of Woodyard Road; Markee A. Griffin, 19, and Alvin Jefferson, 29, both of the 700 block of Square Circle Ranch Road; and Lee E. Dinkins, 51, of the 30 block of Friendship Lane. The four men are currently being held at the Edgefield County Detention Center on custody orders awaiting formal charges. Jail officials said warrants should be served sometime Friday. EdgefieldDaily.com is honoring the four men with a “Here’s Your Card” award. For
