![]() Beauty salon burglarized web posted January 5, 2007 JOHNSTON – A Johnston beauty salon located on the 400 block of Edisto Street opened Tuesday morning to discover the business had been burglarized and over $1,000 in goods were missing. When Johnston Police arrived on the scene they located a window on the side of the business that was pried open and used to gain entry into the building. Reported missing from inside the beauty parlor was a black 27-inch Sanyo TV, a set of gray colored trimmers, a complete set of “Kizure” curling irons, a black and red professional blow dryer, and at least ten bottles of perfume. The value of the items missing was listed as $1,090. Evidence collected at the scene has been turned over to investigators who are working the case.
