![]() Johnston Police solve burglary, four teens charged web posted January 11, 2007 JOHNSTON – Johnston Police Chief Chris Aston released the names of four individuals arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary in the second degree and grand larceny over $1,000 that stems from an investigation of a burglary on January 4. The burglary took place at Executive Care Care located at 318 Lee Street. Among the four are three 17 year-olds and a 15 year-old juvenile. “We’re charging them all as adults,” Chief Aston said Wednesday at the Johnston Police Department. However, the name of the juvenile is not being released at this time. “We haven’t charged the juvenile as an adult yet,” Chief Aston said, “but when we do we will release the name.” Named in the arrests are Rakema Isaiah Blocker, 17 of 212 Lanier Road, Oquendo Lyshad Jones, 17, of 512 Railroad Avenue, and Corinthian Tobias Johnson, 17, of 508 Railroad Avenue, all of Johnston. The juvenile is also a Johnston resident. Chief Aston said he would ,”like to thank all the citizens who were involved in helping the Johnston Police Department obtain the information needed to identify the suspects and recover a large amount of stolen items.” The Chief added that citizens are the “best eyes and ears for the town” and are always welcomed for sharing information with police. “You never know, you may just be the one to help get criminals off the streets of Johnston,” a release stated.
