Truck Stolen from Johnston Car Dealer

web posted February 5, 2014

JOHNSTON The owner of Satcher Form Motors called Johnston Police Monday to report a high-end truck being stolen from one of their lots sometime over the weekend. It was parked on the lot on Friday, January 31, around 5:30 pm and was found missing on Monday. The truck is valued at over $22,000.

According to an incident report released on Tuesday, the truck is a blue metallic Wedgewood Ford F-250 King Ranch FX4 crew cab with running boards and a short bed. It also has a custom brush guard that is painted to match the lower paint on the truck -gray and tan paint.

The VIN # was provided as 1FTSW21P26EB96081. No tag was on the ruck.

Officers were also advised that a tag from a similar truck was stolen in the general area during the same time frame. It is unknown if the two thefts are related. The stolen tag was reported as SC tag CLC 395.

No suspects were listed in either report.
