  Thefts, damage from burglary tops $50,000 web posted February 6, 2007 JOHNSTON – The damage and amount of stolen property in the burglary on Friday morning were made available on Monday. In all the property stolen or damaged in the theft totaled $54,700, of which $45,000 in vehicles were recovered. Investigators are still working the case and are trying to identify the suspect. The blue Chevy 4x4 truck recovered at the crime scene had no license plate and the vehicle identification number came back to a nonexistent address. Police believe the truck may lead them to the suspect due to the extreme measures taken to get the truck unstuck from the mud. No other information was available due to the ongoing investigation. For
