  Stabbing victim rushed to MCG web posted March 12, 2010 JOHNSTON – One man was stabbed and rushed to MCG in Augusta after an unknown altercation at the Billy’s Superstore in Johnston overnight. The man, suffering from a stab wound to the left side of his stomach area, was taken to the Johnston Police Department by an acquaintance to call 911. EMS arrived a short time later and transported him to be treated for the stab wound. Johnston Police and Edgefield County Sheriff’s Deputies combed the area looking for two men suspected in the attack who were believed to have fled the scene down Aiken Avenue. The limited description given was they were black males with one wearing jeans and a black hat. The two subjects were never found during the search and the crime scene was processed.
