 Paid for by the Candidate Johnston man reports theft of boat, multiple items web posted Apri 22, 2006 JOHNSTON – A Johnston man called the Johnston Police to report his boat missing from his pond Wednesday afternoon. The Robin Drive homeowner told Police he returned home late in the day and noticed the boat missing. After taking a closer look around the property the owner discovered several other items missing as well. Once officers arrived the list of items totaled over $1,000 in value. The owner told Police a canoe, a Sears pressure washer, a Sears leaf blower, four fishing rods and reels, a marine battery, and two propane tanks were gone. The case was turned over for investigation and the boat was discovered in a pond behind a mobile home community off Sandra Drive in Johnston later in the day. The canoe was recovered; however, none of the other missing items has been located and the case is still under investigation. For
