One injured in rollover crash

web posted April 25, 2007
Reader Submitted Photo
JOHNSTON – A one-car crash on Highway 191 just outside of Johnston Tuesday morning sent one man to the hospital after his Dodge Durango rolled over and crashed into a building along the roadway. Edgefield County Sheriff’s Deputies, EMS, and the Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

It is unknown what caused the driver to lose control of the SUV. He was transported to the Aiken Regional Hospital to be treated for injuries received in the crash.

The crash did not block traffic on the highway and the SUV was towed from the scene after the investigation of the crash by state troopers. A charge of driving too fast for conditions was said to be pending against the driver.

An EdgefieldDaily.com reader provided the photo and some of the information used in this report.
