 Johnston to hold meeting on recreation web posted Apri 27, 2006 JOHNSTON – The Town of Johnston announced a public meeting that will be held on May 9, 2006, at 6:00 pm at the Johnston Town Hall. Town Administrator Olin Gambrell said Mayor Willie Campbell is taking up recreation in Johnston at the meeting and desired the public’s input. Also attending the meeting will be county officials including the members of the county recreation department. Mayor Campbell is also going to be investigating what the county and state agencies could provide in assistance to increase recreation in the town, Mr. Gambrell said. “This (recreation) is an issue the Mayor wants confronted.” For
