Can't we all just get along? web posted June 15, 2006 JOHNSTON – A Johnston man called the Sheriff’s Office to report being attacked by his girlfriend, who he claimed, cut him with a broken beer bottle and then threw a brick through the window of his residence. When a Sheriff’s Deputy arrived EMS was treating the man for a cut to his right hand, which they indicated, would need stitches. Investigating the scene the deputy was told the man and his 26-year-old girlfriend were in an argument that became physical and the woman used a broken beer bottle as a weapon in the assault. Also observed a broken window and a brick inside the home of the man. As the officer continued to photograph the crime scene he noticed a small amount of marijuana on a table next to the man’s wallet. When confronted about the drugs the man stated, “it is just a stem, not enough to test,” according to police reports. The baggie was its contents were taken into evidence and passed on to narcotic investigators for further investigation. The woman left the scene prior to law enforcement arriving. For
