 Vandals cause $5,000 in damages to cars at dealership web posted June 27, 2006 JOHNSTON – Several vehicles at Satcher Ford in Johnston were vandalized causing over $5,000 in damages this past Monday. According to police reports, eight vehicles had been keyed in the sales lot. The incident apparently happened over the previous weekend. A 2002 Ford Expedition, a 2006 Ford Taurus, a 2006 Grand Marquis, a 2006 Crown Victoria, two 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 trucks, a 2006 1500Dodge truck, a 2006Town and Country, and a 2006 Ford Taurus were damaged. It is believed that children on their bicycles may be responsible and the owner has asked police to patrol the business to prevent future vandalism.
