 Johnston club to be cited for violation web posted June 27, 2006 JOHNSTON – Johnston Police made quick use of the new Town Ordinance on the closing of drinking establishments by 2 am when The Shack, located at 502 Railroad Avenue, was told to close its doors after being found open after the regulated time. According to police reports “Da Shack” owner, Anthony Hawtiwanger, was hand delivered a letter advising him that the club would have to close by the established time on June 16. When officers observed the club open at 2:30 am and still allowing people to enter officers informed Mr. Hawtiwanger he was in violation of the new town ordinance. A citation is being pursued for the violation. For
