 Johnston business burglarized web posted June 28, 2006 JOHNSTON – A Johnston business was found to be burglarized Monday morning when the owner arrived to open for the day. According to the owner, the person or persons broke out one of the front windows of the business to gain entry. Once inside, a surveillance camera had been pulled down and several file cabinets were gone through. Though only $1.20 was taken from the business, the damage done during the burglary was estimated at $500. Also taken from the business were two metal boxes. The boxes were described as a beige box about 5” x 4” x 12” and the other a black box with no handle but contained a lock on the front. The case has been turned over for further investigation by the Johnston Police Department. For
