  Naked woman with knife arrested web posted July 12, 2008 JOHNSTON – Johnston Police received a rather unusual call just before 2 am on Thursday, that of a naked woman sitting on the porch of a Bland Avenue home. When an officer arrived a few minutes later he found the woman sitting on the porch in a chair. The officer asked the woman where her clothes were and the woman stated they were at a home “around the corner”. As the officer approached the home, the woman that called police came out with some clothes for the other woman to put on. It was then she told the officer that the naked woman had a knife and a tire iron when she was first spotted. The officer gave the naked woman the clothes and asked her to get dressed on the other side of the porch. When the woman complied the officer recovered the knife and the tire iron from underneath the chair. The woman informed the officer she had the items so, “she could go back and kill her husband in Monetta.” The woman was placed into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. The knife and the tire iron were taken into evidence. There was no explanation given as to the why the woman was naked. The 46-year-old Johnston woman’s name is being withheld at this time. ©
