web posted August 25, 2007
JOHNSTON – A Johnston business owner reported a Haulmark 8x10 trailer loaded with furniture and other items stolen from the side of the store located on the 200 block of Lee Street to the Johnston Police Department. The trailer was last seen on two days ago. The white trailer has a “Lazar” sticker and a small hole on one of the sides.

Inside the trailer were a cream color queen size bed, bedding, Little Tykes toys, two dressers, and other items of clothing. The value of the items inside the trailer totaled just over $500 in value.

The white trailer is a model TS610SA Haulmark trailer with a serial number of 4XSCB10172GO39431.

Two trailers and a red “three prong boom hitch” was also reported stolen in Trenton on Thursday from a tractor business on Highway 25. No description of the first trailer was available in police reports, however, the second trailer was described as a black 17-foot trailer with a wood bottom and “homemade” wood sides and fold up ramps. The 2007 D and E trailer has a serial number of 1D9BU17207G460B97.

All items have been added to the Stolen or Missing Section
